My Photography Style

I am lovingly aggressive. In order to get the unique and deeply personal photographs that will elicit the emotions you had the day it was taken, I am unafraid of getting close during a tender moment--a father giving the groom a proud hug on his wedding day, a child wrapping her arms around mother's neck, or a gentle kiss placed on a newborn's feet. While I will give you space to revel in a moment without a camera next to you, it is important to know that I am an involved photographer.  

Everyone deserves to feel seen, loved, and beautiful. I want to help you look and feel your best. I believe an image not only encapsulates a moment, but the feelings you had when a photo was taken. I ensure that every member of your family--whether at a family portrait or a wedding--is given respect and attention. I also make it a priority to capture as many guests as possible in a wedding or event so that your loved ones are memorialized and no one feels left out. 

My photos are Bright and Moody. I love photos that are bright and well-lit and have dark and rich colors. My colors are "true to life" with a hint of warmth. I prioritize sharp images with clean lines. I seek after natural light and locations that cast dramatic shadows. Be warned--I get excited when I find perfect lighting!
